This 250-seat multi-purpose theatre is part of a facility dedicated to educating the public about the significant contributions made by African Americans in New Mexico. The 23,000 sq. ft. facility includes an exhibit hall that features local artwork, as well as lobby, pre-function areas, and administrative offices.
DLAA provided theatre consulting with seating layouts, space arrangements to maintain the separation of back of house from the audience, sightline analysis, etc. We also designed the performance lighting, rigging, with motorized line sets, and audio-video systems.
