D.L. Adams Associates designed the Denver International Airport Voice Paging System for the Main Terminal, Concourses A, B & C, Office Tower, Central Plant, and all tunnels and support spaces.  The system uses a fiber-optic network to distribute audio and connect all the buildings for automatic fault correction and centralized control from the Airport Command Center.

DLAA also designed the Canopy Addition, where speech intelligibility is the priority for the curbside transportation announcements.  As a Basis for Design, we measured the existing traffic sound levels and used that information along with future traffic counts to predicted levels and select loudspeakers to provide clear announcements at the levels needed to be intelligible over the traffic.
