D. L. Adams Associates is pleased to announce the reopening of the auditorium at Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy. Working with architect HED and general contractor Taylor Kohrs, we provided consulting and design services for renovations to the auditorium and stage, including audio-video systems, theatrical rigging, and performance lighting.
The project included design for a new stage scrim and cyclorama, complete replacement of the more than 30-year-old performance lighting system, and upgrades to the auditorium’s AV systems. The project also replaced the existing incandescent lighting fixtures with color-changing LED fixtures.
Together, these improvements renew the auditorium’s technical capabilities and provide greater flexibility to support Kunsmiller’s students and performances.
