D. L. Adams Associates provided acoustical consulting services utilizing predictability modeling software to optimize the the acoustic performance of The Mission Ballroom. We recommended acoustical treatments and finishes to tame reflections of low-frequency energy that is increasingly part of contemporary music performances. DLAA also specified attenuators in the HVAC ductwork and spring isolators for the mechanical systems to improve sound isolation to surrounding structures.
